As we previously reported, Glee star Mark Salling is dead after committing suicide. Salling had pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor in December. He was facing 4-7 years in prison as well as 20 years of supervised release. One of the terms of his plea bargain was also to pay $50,000 to each of his victims as restitution. However, TMZ reports that Sallings suicide will likely prevent that from happening.

In order for that penalty to get applied, the judge had to sentence Salling. The sentencing was scheduled for March, which means that Salling hung himself before it could happen. This means that the plea deal wasnt finalized and the judge no longer has the authority to order payment for the victims. If the victims want restitution now, they will have to sue his estate for damages.

I'm a little confused so he is paying every person who was in the CP videos because he watched it? Shouldn't the person/people who made those videos pay for it. While he is a scumbag he wasn't directly responsible for the CP video being made
