Never seen anybody actually die, but I drove past an accident where I saw a mangled body. They went under a semi. That was like 20 years ago. Still bothers me.
Also saw my mom being zipped up into a body bag. That haunts me.

Back when i was 9, my family was staying in a hotel. Me and my cousins played in the pool and heard commotion. We came and saw a 7 years old drowned in the other side of the pool.

The lifeguard pulled the kid, gave CPR, but i think ot didnt work.

The boy did coughed yellow-y water thing and looks like grasping for breath for a second but never opened his eyes.

The dad just run and yelled something like "my son! My son! Someone please help my son!"

Yeah, it was damn vivid.

It wad 2002, around when the world cup plays, it was between noon and afternoon, maybe 2 to 3 pm and i remember it pretty well even till now.

I didn't see him actually die, but I saw an older kid get shot in the chest when I was... eight, I think? He died at the hospital.

When I was fourteen I found my best friend when he hung himself. If there's a hell, I hope he's burning there.

Watched my Dad die when we turned the machine off.

Doctor said it would have been pointless and cruel to keep him alive on it since he would have died anyway within the week.

Been around or seen 2 people murdered and 2 accidentally killed at various times.

I've been around for the plug pulling. It's not so bad and somewhat like what you see on tv.

My mom was terrible though. It wasn't a plug pulling situation and despite being doped up on morphine she went out screaming in agony. I do not recommend being in the room for that type of scenario.

it was really crowded and a big "river" pool, not just your usual square ones. plus the damn parents wasnt supervising, and the dad only ran when he heard the commotion from the hotel corridor

Scrubs hit the nail on the head for that. What does it even mean beyond "They're gonna die soon, so wrap up your shit."

I had a friend die in my arms. Drunk driver flipped his truck while my friend was in the back. When he was thrown out midflip, the truck rolled on his head.

Watched a 40ish year old woman on a scooter t-bone a car that ran a red light at 60kmh. She wasn't wearing a helmet. I legit saw brains splattered along the road.

When I was 12 I was at a train station where a homeless guy who stood just 10 meters from where I was, jumped in front of a train. I remember seeing body parts I couldn't identify. Today, 15 years later I still have the exact image of it in my head.

I saw a guy die in church. He was telling the church some story about a guy that came to his house. He had a heart attack while he was telling the story. My assumption is he was so nervous about speaking in front of a crowd that he had a heart attack. He was an elderly man.

One of my college professors, and friend. I was watching them from a little bit of a distance. They were walking to their car, stopped, and then dropped onto the pavement.

I ran out to help her, called 911, etc, but it was pretty obvious that she was dead.

I was driving through an intersection behind a biker. Some dumb shit on her cell phone on the other road ran the red light and plowed over the biker, and spilled the contents of his unhelmeted head all over the asphalt. She kept right on driving after that.

a few, i had to do CPR and do the resuscitation algorithm a few times like 90% of it doesn't even work but you still go through the motions but still pretty bad

Don't care if you believe me. I saw it back in college. I was over at a friends house "studying" when we heard some yelling outside. Went to the window to look and saw it happen. Called the police while it was happening, but they didn't show up fast enough.

Back in like 05, i went to virginia beach w my gf at the time and her family for vaca

This was like month before katrina

All the lifeguards warned everyone upon entering the beach that the currents are too strong to go too far out in the water

Fast forward two days later, as we were returning from the strip, we saw a huge crowd on the beach in front of our hotel room door, as its on the beach

Turns out two people who ignored the warnings got caught into the current...

We all watched the lifeguard use cpr to get one of the victims to breath, and was finally able to...they didnt find the other guy until like an hour later...he drowned :/

Just had a DOA, she fell on her way to the bathroom at 2000 Saturday and her boyfriend didn't call till 1300 Monday. Dude was not right in the head.
