Doesn't seem to be much coverage but a couple sites have said that the "Peace Day" ending (Diamond Dogs disarm all the nukes in the world, setting up Metal Gear 1) is now accessible.

Was gonna replay the game because it's been two and a half years only to find that at some point I deleted it from my hard drive. It's gonna take 15 hours to redownload on my connection oof

You know though, as much as people hate for true endings to be DLC, I would've been so happy if they just finished that up and released it instead of just scrapping the whole thing.

Ending is just as shit as the others tbqh. Totally makes sense that the worlds nukes got disarmed, then 10 years later Venom decided to steal the worlds nukes to hold the world hostage

Yeah, I think I'm remembering the NES manual by mistake.

Ending is still stupid as fuck though, because Metal Gear Solid clearly establishes that nuclear disarmament never happened. It also doesn't make any fucking sense for Venom to want to be a good guy, and then up and decides to be a bad guy in Metal Gear 1
