I feel like I've bonded with this Duosion after it was the first Pokemon I ever got the Amie face game to consistently work with but if I ever wanted to use it seriously it has a Mild Nature which lowers its Defense and Reuniclus is apparently a defensive Pokemon and even in XY PvE it's regularly fainting to a tap on the shoulder

Yeah, I think the last necessary barrier to fall between legit and hacked 'mons is that there needs to be an in-game Personality Coach. 'Oh, you want your Pichu to be more Timid? Hand over [X amount of specialized rare-but-not-unique consumables] and leave the little bastard here for a few days.'

I don't want to change the Nature, just the stats that go up and down. Or flavor preference for that matter, for any games that might bring back something like Contest stats. Like how the Characteristic remains the same if you Hyper Train a Pokemon.

Nah, TC mild isn't that bad for ingame. And it's not hard at all to poke amie max affection.

I would tell them to add more of this stuff but also add more, accessible ways to manipulate the parts that actually effect battle
