This might be a stupid question, but cat litter is good for like a year or two, right?
Costco is having a sale on a 42lbs bag of scoop away cat litter ($3 off; limit of 3). FYI, it's normally around $12. We go to Costco once a week, so we can potentially buy 12 bags of this stuff, at a saving of $36 (or basically get three bags free). We use one 42lbs bag in about 1.5 months, so 12 bags will last us a year and a half. .................It'll be okay, right? ... Copied to Clipboard!

If it's not sealed well it will absorb moisture and start to clump in the bag. Otherwise you should be good.

Most litter is made from clay. Outside of the scented litters losing their smell I don't see any reason the litter would lose it's effectiveness.
