Designer sunglasses are so common that it doesn't bring any status with it. Its like wearing a gucci or LV belt, theres no status, you're just a douchebag who is owned by a corporation. As opposed to lets say you're wearing $200 jeans, thats actual style and quality and you probably have good taste, or even expensive shoes are worth it, or a nice expensive blazer, etc.

If you want status, get a nice watch. Glasses are gimmicky, no class.

My wife has gucci sunglasses and my old roommate had versace glasses, I bought some basic polarized wayfarer glasses on amazon for about 20-30 ish. Vision/clarity/quality wise, they are all the same. Infact mine have been more durable, they have more problems with pins coming lose or whatever. And if you take off the brand names, mine probably look better.

You are just flat out wrong man. You sound like someone who shops at goodwill. A good belt goes a long way. One of my best polos was an underarmor type material polo from Ralph Lauren. My girlfriend loves it and people tell me all the time they love the material. It's so smooth and comfortable
