Ryzen works better with high speed Memory, so OBVIOUSLY its gotta be SHIT at actually managing higher OC level memory. BECAUSE THAT MAKES SENSE.

You gotta use very SPECIFIC MODELS of memory to actually run >2933MHz while being stable on AM4 Mobos! Fuck outta here with that!!

I just wanted some nice RGB memory but I can hardly find any from AMD's list that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. :c

Every time I've gone with AMD I've been disappointed. Which sucks because their prices are usually great.

AMD fits better for what I'm trying to do (school shit, virtualization, rendering) but it's just shittier to build around. Intel is nice and lenient but AMD needs SPECIFIC memory layouts, for example.

- all memory faster than 2666mhz is expensive, no way around it so just pony up.

- the RGB kits all worked with ryzen from day one. I have GSKill Trident Z RGB 3000mhz kit OC'd to 3200mhz from day 1 of Ryzen release(March 2nd).

this kit ight here: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232487

- the latest round of BIOS updates for each board should have totally removed any RAM problems as far as overclocking or setting them their correct speeds on whatever kits/board still had issues.

FYI, don't spread misinformation and don't get fooled by it(too late apparently). AMD does not need specific RAM types. They get the BEST overclocking and stability from Samsung B-die RAM...which also performs the best on Intel platforms for overclocking because it's the best fucking type of RAM module.
