Calling this "Interesting" isn't the right context whatsoever, but looking back on American history and school shootings dating back as far as the year 1764 and reading a lot of these stories truly tells a story about how things really haven't changed much over the years.

I also find it surprising that there were a lot more deaths from school shootings in the 1990s compared to the 2000's, I would have never guessed that.

Not pushing an agenda here, not looking for a debate on gun laws and control, I just think in this modern day and raising awareness is important and looking back on the history is very surprising and the frequencies, especially in the 1800s, of how many there actually have been and historically documented that I personally never heard of before.

At least skim through it, and read the brief story about the 1764 event.

December 22, 1868 Chattanooga, Tennessee A boy who refused to be whipped and left school, returned with his brother and a friend, the next day to seek revenge on his teacher. Not finding the teacher at the school, they continued to his house, where a gun battle rang out, leaving three dead. Only the brother survived.
