Huh, thats somewhat surprising. I like Melon, but I somewhat doubt he was removed for inactivity since the promotion was so recent and they reconfirm you still want to be a mod before actually doing so. Also Im curious if he deleted his only post in this topic of if it was moderated for some reason.

Yea, I saw that and I saw that Duke denied it, so who knows. I remember back in the day if a mod or former mod did an alt reveal like that it was met with a pretty harsh punishment.

Yea, thats why I dont really attack people like some other users. My accounts like GamerGirIz, BobbyButthurt, CooIGamerMom, etc were all suppose to be fun. I will admit Ive used some alts to insult others who I felt were over the top negative to me just because they didnt like my jokes, but in general that is not style.

No need to state the obvious. There's like 10-15 people on this board alone that he didn't get along with and the day he got his moderator status, I immediately started getting moderations for benign shit left and right when I had zero moderations for like 2 months prior

I also mysteriously got one overturned where my dispute was just me mentioning that I was getting harassed by him. I wasnt even actually trying or expecting to get it overturned but they did

tbh, I also had a slew of bad moderations which all quickly got overturned and, at the time, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a coincidence to them getting modded in the first place.

your mod application stays on file for a year, just because you apply doesn't mean they'll be looking for mods at that moment

I believe they ask you if you still want to be a mod before actually making you a moderator. Its not like you submit an application then all of a sudden one day youre a mod out of nowhere. They message you asking if you are still interested in the position. Obviously Melon was interested and was excited about being a mod less than a day before he was demoted. Like I said before, I like Melon, but there is definitely more to this than him just deciding he didnt want to be a mod due to family obligations.
