Current Events > I've played 3 games of Civ, but haven't finished any of them.

I enjoyed the game but I dunno. For the third one I made sure to not do an overly long one and things were doing well, but it was modded and I got stuck due to lack of guides. Looked and looked but never figured out what that win condition meant.

Anyone else have this problem where they like it but can't seem to finish it?

Edit: Now I'm having an issue where the general idea of CK2 sounds fun except for my issue getting emotionally attached to characters and things get kinda dark in it from what I've heard.

I do, but it's mostly because I run like more than a hundred mods at the same time, so by the time I reach the really-late game and am about to lay waste to the whole world with my legions of Terminator robots, resurrected T-Rexes, nanomachine factory drones, satellite cannons, bioengineered mutant soldiers and giant frickin' mechas(who needs lousy nukes lol), the game... crashes. >______>

Civilization and CK2 are completely different games. One is an historical sandbox with some fun (and optional) paranormal/supernatural elements to it, the other is basically a board game.

I don't remember how much was in the base game but there are expansion packs that add stuff like immortality, anti-christ story chains, etc.
