I miss Popeyes Chicken (well, the biscuits, mostly). There was one near me for years, but it closed in 2006... Thankfully, an even better place opened here last summer (I don't really like KFC) and they use a pressure cooker to make the "fried" chicken and they have these potato wedges they fry with batter on them. So good.

I didn't grow up with it and never bothered to try it when I moved to Phoenix. Roommate brought me some one day and it's alright, I guess.

I'm not big on whatever they support. But I do want the food. But I only have time to really go there on Sunday... at least for a while. And I can't...

As I see it, not all companies are going to donate to causes you believe in or support. So, I don't really care what a company believes in as long as I don't work there or give them that much money. I won't donate to them or support the cause, but buying some food for a couple of bucks will probably be ok. Haha.

Yeah, but as a consumer, you vote with yiur wallets. If you keep going to a company that does shitty things, then you're condoning that behavior and letting them know that what they're doing is ok. I mean, they wouldn't get that much from me anyway, but I'd rather just go somewhere else than condone that kind of behavior.

I think that's more like if you go there everyday. Or even a lot. Me going there once a month and spending like $5 isn't going to be the thing that puts them over... Not to mention, I haven't been there in months...
