I like watching a lot of these sorts of videos, ones where you see people out in public acting like a fucking jerk.

Seems to me any public space should be free game (parking lot, on the street, at a public park, ect) and maybe a business (Burger joint, Walmart, Target, ect) but not another person's home or something. --- ... Logically thinking, i would imagine that no one has an expectation of privacy in a public area.

It's just that I hear it both ways so often in these videos. "You can't record this!" "I can record whatever I want!"
