I like watching a lot of these sorts of videos, ones where you see people out in public acting like a fucking jerk.

Legally, when, where and who are you able to film with your phone? Is it State to State? Seems to me any public space should be free game (parking lot, on the street, at a public park, ect) and maybe a business (Burger joint, Walmart, Target, ect) but not another person's home or something.

Logically thinking, i would imagine that no one has an expectation of privacy in a public area.

It's just that I hear it both ways so often in these videos. "You can't record this!" "I can record whatever I want!"

I just wish I knew what the law was.
