So what makes students so confident yet 2/3rds of businsesses so unimpressed? ![]() Do you think the new generation is too focused on Snap-Chat and WWE and Memes and is not prepared for things like Taxes, Stock trading, long work hours? Or do you think businsesses are underestimating the best and brightest America has to offer. And what do you think causes this divide in attitude? --- ^ Hey now that's completely unfair. https://imgtc.com/i/14JHfrt.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think a big part of it is the perception from watching the news about places like Berkeley where students riot whenever they don't like someone who is set to speak. This leads to the perception that college age people just can't handle disagreement in a rational manner, which is an important skill in the business world.
You have to be able to deal with people without flying off the handle and just shouting to drown them out in order to be successful in business. I'm not saying all college students are like this, only that the media has painted a picture of college age students that is like this. --- John 6:53 Jesus promoting cannibalism. AssultTank at work! Depends on whether they actually buy into the left-wing indoctrination. The ones who think that's going to fly in the real world are in trouble. The ones who laugh it off will be fine.

Many people do struggle with fully understanding and getting to grips with it. I don't think some basic education around it would be amiss in a general sense, even if many of us have no issue with it.
