The tube that plugs into the hose keeps falling out, and it doesn't do a good job at cleaning resin dust off my floor since it gets stuck to the floor (due to resin curing agent) and needs a contact surface like a sponge or something prior to vacuuming.

Maybe use a mop for the dust.

There are vacuum/steam mop combos. We use one on our hard wood floors.
