I was born in Pittsburgh in 1993 and my family moved to Indianapolis in 1995 and I spent most of my first 18 years of life in Indiana before moving away for college.

Both sides of my family are from Pittsburgh and I use to visit a lot, I have deeper feelings towards Pittsburgh than I do for Indianapolis and I never really liked Indiana. I usually tell people who don't know me that I'm "from Pittsburgh"

does anyone else do this too? Where were you born, where did you grow up, and where do you claim to be from?

I was born in Los gatos, can but I lived and grew up in San Jose til I was 13. I say San Jose cuz it's much more well known and my mum lived there, only the coincidence of provider networks covered by her insurance made me be born in a different place

I've lived in the same city for my whole life. But i will say that it does kind of piss me off when someone who was born in my city and lived here til they were like 2 says "yeah im from (insert my city here)"

I say I'm from Sevierville when people ask, because that's where I spent my first 12 years. But I was born in Knoxville, and have lived in Alabama my entire adult life.

When asked I generally say I'm from florida.

I don't have a single city I call home. I was born in virginia, but I don't have any memories of it. We moved every 5 years or so. Cities I've lived in include Hampton, VA, Tampa, FL, Lutz, Fl, St. Petersburg Fl, Orlando Fl, Lafayette TN and Hermitage TN (current).

St. Petersburg would be the closest to a home city that I've ever had since I spent the longest time there (close to ten years there as opposed to a max of 5 or less everywhere else). I don't because the last time I visited there it didn't feel like home anymore since most of my friends and family who lived there no longer lived there.
