Most of the predatory lending was coming from small banks like Countrywide Financial. The shadow banking community is the real sinner here imho.

Im not a Sanders supporter, but you need to diversify companies that are part of the economic foundation.

Lets say, for the sake of argument, there are four banks that primarily make up the banking lending system in the US. If one of those banks fails its going to have a tremendous negative financial impact on the nation. If, however, it were made up of 100 different banking companies and one failed it would barely even be noticed.

Its the same logic as why as a trust company you can be held financially liable for not diversifying stocks that are held in a trust, in certain circumstances.
