An elementary school in Pennsylvania will cancel classes on Wednesday because a church down the street is hosting a ceremony with AR-15 RIFLES where EVERYONE is encouraged to bring their GUNS to the wedding!!

World Peace and Unification Sanctuary said the AR-15 symbolizes the "rod of iron" in the biblical book of Revelation and it's couraging people to bring all of their guns with them to the committment ceremony

It's held half a mile from Wallenpaupack South Elementary

The superintendent said there's no direct threat to their school or community but there are concerns over parking, traffic and the "nature of the event" as students will be bused to that area. There will also be increased security all week

Cassandra Marro, a parent of a student there said "You don't know who's going to be there, you don't know who has problems or what anybody's intentions are"

The gun nuts said they planned the event months ago before the February 14th massacre but maintained that their event is "safe" and that their guns will be UNLOADED and secured with zip ties.

Hyung-Jin Moon, the son of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, a self proclaimed messiah founded the church but the Unification Church is often descrbed as a CULT that distanced itself from the event as they said their theology do not involve weapons.

Richard Buessing said "It saddens us that Reverend Moon's son has chosen to separate himself and walk in opposition to his parent's legacy building world peace"

The family owns gunmaker Kahr Arms and they are stringent TRUMP SUPPORTERS who all voted for him. They said people should not fear the gun because GOD created it to save themselves from harmful people and animals..which Hyung-Jin said he regularly hunts because hunting is a tradition God wanted humans to partake in..

The churchgoers also regularly WORSHIPS their guns because they said it is the greatest "man made" product EVER

Sounds like gun control to me. What's to stop some whackjob from going in with a loaded, unsecured gun and massacring all these people who don't have their precious AR-15's to protect them? They're basically helpless.

I don't have issue with gun ownership, that said the fetishising of the things here is ridiculous, I see people with those bumper stickers of their families replaced with guns and how people will so nonchalantly use them. A 16 year old kid just shot himself by accident and died at a range near here, we need to treat these guns with respect and fear.
