I was thinking about it and according to Science the chances of being born are so incredibly low its way more likely you entered a VR simulation game and forgot you entered it. Not only that but if your dad had deeded instead of having sex you would have been flushed down the toilet. Or what if your dad was never born and someone else beat him to the egg, would you have never been born because you had to come from that particular person being your dad? This just all sounds bulls*** to me. I keep questioning reality everyday and its driving me crazy.

What happens when we develop VR to that level, enter it and forget?

Does the universe begin again?

Does the universe begin again for each person?

7 billion universes, each with unprecedented parallel universes?

Oh man

I never said I had schizophrenia. Just that I had some symptoms. I was diagnosed with depression and obsession disorder though.

I am now measurably stupider having read that nonsense.

That's the wrong way to look at probability. Instead of looking at it as what is the probability that the individual sperm that made you, made it to the egg, look at it as the probability that any sperm made it to the egg in the number of times your parents banged.

Yes, the probability of any one event happening is astronomically small, but remember that something has to happen. Imagine if you flip a coin a million times. Whatever sequence you got at the end, has an extremely small chance of happening. However, one of the outcomes need to happen, so it happens even though the probability of any one of the outcomes is astronomically small.

If you want a smaller scale example, think about a deck of cards. What is the chance you draw the ace of spades? 1/52. Well...dang it that's a really small probability. Shouldn't something of higher probability happen? Well every other outcome is also 1/52. You can't say you won't draw a card because the chance of any of the individual outcomes are too small. You are going to draw a card, and something of low probability will happen.
