Why are the girls so much more badass and interesting than TChalla? They literally do everything for him and he pretty much just fights. And his narrative arc is just... a mess. Are we sure hes the main character and not Nakia?

The sister is literally G and Tony Stark on steroids. I like her. I want to see more of her. Preferably a whole movie of her and Nakia being as cool as they were here. With Okoye too. The women are perfect.

he beat the gorilla king after getting stab in the chest.

then he beat apollo creed's son in a fight.

He also killed his comrades by jumping into a helicotper/plane thingy, but the girls did tell the white boy to shoot down all the other planes.

i mean techically... TChalla could have won the fight and just commanded them to fly back with the weapons since he would be king... but whatever... just kill them instead.

TChalla did stuff.

I think the whole point of the character and the film is summed up in the line that its hard for a good man to be king

Tchalla is a character whose conscious gnaws at him, hes going to try and do the right thing even if it is detrimental to himself. Im eager to see what other directions they take him in future films, cause he is a freaking boss in the comics.

For the most part it literally applies to neither of them. It applies to the past black panthers, but that was the whole point about this one, that he was different

^killmonger wanted to share tech to the world and donimate the whole world.

I mean at the end of the movie his ideas sort of won. TChalla decides to share his tech to the world. which will eventually bite him in the ass if you look at history. it will lead to more burtal uprising of coup... just a slower rate than what killmonger was planning.

Well thats the double edged sword of it all, isnt it? Help knowing it might eventually hurt, or dont help knowing its hurting now?

The movie version of Black Panther has T'Challa learn a lesson about the way they've been running Wakanda and embrace a more liberal viewpoint by the end of the movie but as far as I'm aware the comic version never does. It's all about Wakanda all the time.

Narratively it has to be that way, because of the Reed Richards Is Useless trope.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ReedRichardsIsUseless

Allowing Wakanda's tech to spread worldwide would change Earth to the extent that it wouldn't be a recognizable as a version of modern day Earth anymore.
