Any canadians here know anybody who is dead broke but has enough money for a can of Copenhagen every few days?

im thinking like, where I live in the US cigs are around 7-8 dollars, a can of dip is around 3-5 dollars, and a bag of chew is around 6-7 dollars.

Of course the tax model here is "most people arent going to quit because of the prices going up so we can make more money and people still get what they want"

the canada model is "fuck people who dip, we dont want their tax money at all BUT if some sucker does buy a can for 25 bucks we'll take it!"

I think dip(shit in a can as I call it) is gross as hell so I dont mind, but I imagine importing swedish snus(my favorite) wouldnt be easy.

But ultimately i am not too concerned with how another country handles their business but it amuses me.

I am very knowledgeable about US tobacco prices.
You should buy a year of Costco membership and renew it every year.
However, not every Costco branch sells tobacco and also to note,
after you buy tobacco, you will be denied entry into the main store.
If you have a car, you can put it in the car but it isn't 100% safe.
Which means that it is most wise to do tobacco shopping afterwards.
This way, you will be able to buy all your daily necessities,
and get tobacco on your way out.

Well, since a Carton is base $87 here (about $106 after applicable taxes) and we go through about a carton a week.... ehhhh, it's expensive
