PH & PJ are both pretty close. I use to switch based of what I wanted from each. Domino's is the probably the one Onhad the least. Had it more as a kid because it's was close. But not much since that time. Though, I hear they're better at thin crust. And I'm not a thin crust kind or guy... But they're are fine to me. Some other places are a little better, but more expensive. Pizza Hut's pan crust has been the same since at least the 90s, when they started using frozen dough. It's always been spongy and super oily. Pan pizza is supposed to be super oily, though. The crust is literally fried. That's how it cooks. Pizza Hut did change their hand tossed crust like back in 2013 or 2014, but that's not really spongy or super oily, so I don't think that's what you're talking about. They also replaced their overpriced "ultimate" deep dish pizza with a much superior handmade pan pizza in 2012. Domino's new and "improved" sausage introduced last year sucks, though. I suspect you're being more of an elitist snob than anything. If his pizza hut is anything like ours it may not be an exaggeration. I would probably get a dollar expired frozen pizza before I get pizza hut again. The last 2 times I went the pizza I got looked and tasted like they made it in the morning and threw it in the microwave when someone ordered it and then waited 15 minutes so it would be just above toom tempreture when served. Their wings and breadsticks are still pretty good though. The last time I went I got cinnamon sticks they were still ok. Like a quarter of the cinnamon they used to have, but still alright. --- I am awesome and so are you.
