I buy Hunts because Im trying to cut out unnecessary sugars. Why does ketchup need HFCS? >_>

And yeah. Ill try store brand anything but the one item I will never skimp on is toilet paper.

I agree with most that are saying it dont matter.
Best is getting a huge cannister of oatmeal for like 3 bucks if that.
Tuna fish has to be name brand tho, soda too, I drink diet so only like giant brand diet cola sorta, but even then store brand packaging is cheaper, so it'll go flat quicker.

I usually only buy store brand cereal, milk, eggs, pudding (soooo cheap) and other things.

Try malt o' meal. It's not so much store brand than off brand since multiple different stores carry it. But those are usually better than the brand name IMO. And way better value.

Most of the time the store brands are cheaper and identical to national brands. There are a few exceptions (not all flour, salt, honey, canned tomatoes, pasta, bread, etc are created equal).

I almost always buy the Aldi brand. There are a few exceptions. One person mentioned pop tarts. Soda is another.

Walgreens store-brand beer is terrible, assuming it still exists.
It'll give you a hangover while you're drinking it.

Here in Canada, a bunch of people stopped buying Heinz when they stopped buying Canadian tomatoes to make it. French's stepped in and started buying our tomatoes for their ketchup, so that's what I have in my fridge right now and it's perfectly fine.

Only off brand item I wont buy is mac and cheese. The cheap ass powder cheese they use always gives me massive diarrhea. Kraft never does that to me.

Just get generic macaroni, and pour melted Velveeta (or a storebrand knockoff) and milk over it.
