It goes much heavier on co-op, which works with the Switch because the controls are very well suited to one joycon each.

Also it's really really pretty.

This fight is in the demo, it's the best thing about it. Really good fight. And there is a great version of Dedede's theme during it too.

I'll be waiting for some reviews on this one. Kirby games always feel like they can be beaten is 3-4 hours and it's hard to justify paying full price for that. Any indication that this one is going to be longer?

How does the co-op work? It seems you start as just Kirby, then befriend an enemy and P2 can play as the enemy? Can P2 switch between your other allies?

I never said it was rational. I'm just in the mood for Kirby. Traditional Kirby mind, obviously Canvas Curse was awesome.

I just mean that the last 15 years has seen the best Kirby title change hands multiple times. Star Allies looks fine - my niece is beyond excited, and her birthday is a few days after the game comes out so this will be an easy present - but man. Super Star Ultra, Mass Attack, Triple Deluxe, Return to Dreamland, Epic Yarn, motherfucking Planet Robobot? Awesome games. Where were you!!

I feel like this is going to be a fantastic portable multiplayer game. Just bring the Switch out and play some games with friends.

That said, I hope there are some minigames, or a decent co-op Arena, since I think the main story will probably not have a lot of replay value.

I agree, I've always felt like at least the console Kirby game ought to be 40-50 compared to the usual 60. Getting my copy for 50 with sale + employee discount. Still as a Kirby fan I can't REALLY complain, I've definitely made many worse investments in my gaming career.
