WHY. WON'T.THEY.DIEEEEEEEE?!

We poisoned them
We put out more poison over the areas they came from
We put even more poison on their homes

And yet they still keep breaking into my room! There's several corpses in my window right now with more in a cluster in the left still trying to break in!

I'm at my end, last night I had to sleep on the couch because one of those motherfuckers found a way into my bed! In fact, that's mostly why I'm so cranky this morning. Does Fire work on ant piles?

TC, you need Terro. Put the stuff down in a place where the ants are crawling around and they will go nuts for it. It contains stuff that ants can't digest, and in a few days, you will have no more ant problems.

I had the same issue last year. For some reason, ants had found their way into my bedroom and I got bit while laying on my bed. I put plenty of this stuff down and they were completely gone a few days later. Have not seen a single ant in my apartment since.

Are you using the granules poison? The one that is basically sugary and they bring it back down into the nest? I've found that one works well.

Nope, not yet, What we tried is this brownish looking stuff that's suppose to ward them off and a spray that did kill alot of them, yet they advance still, I might try your suggestion next as well as the Terro stuff

Fire ants are serious shit. I was camping in Texas last year and I parked my car and was standing outside looking at a map. I saw a few crawling around like 20 feet away. Within a few minutes they were right up on my shoes and I nope'd out of there. It's like they actively seek out to destroy you the minute you're too close for their comfort.

my family and I were in Texas maybe like... 10 years ago visiting my grandfather. my pops decided to help my grandpa with the lawn and busted out the weed whacker. well, my pops didnt know that all along the fence line in the backyard were fire ant hills lmao. so my dad goes to weed whack by the fence, and all of a sudden fire ants just start getting flung at him and bite the shit out of him. I wasnt aware of what was happening at the time, so when I seen my pops sprinting around the yard ripping off all his clothes I couldnt help but laugh haha. good times

Most people dont use the granules right.

Youre supposed to circle the hill not dump it on it.

Ive used the terro? (orange bag) granules for awhile now. And while new hills show up from time to time, that stuff kills them.

Just dont disturb them beyond whats in the instructions.

I first encountered fire ants in Florida. I was on the phone with my dad for Father's Day, and I sat down outside on a curb. Within 10 seconds I realized something was terribly wrong. I sprinted into the house, ripped off my clothes and jumped in the shower. I had to pull some of those fuckers off, they wouldn't let go. My legs and ass were covered in little white welts for days.

Pretty much what cable and asherly said.
The Terro liquid bait works great. They will take it back to the nest and feed it to the queen. Pretty brutal way to go, though. The boron crystals cut up their insides, and they die from hemorrhaging.

Try to see where they get in from too and make a line of cinnamon. It somewhat deters them from invading but yes. Grab the poison recommended here.

They will literally kill people. It's scary.

This, I'm in charge of the dog since everyone is gone so these guys being here is getting on my nerves as the longer they're here the bigger the chance they attack the dog, luckily they seem focused on just room for some reason. now about that stuff you recommend is it something I put around their mound or do I just put it around my window like I've done with the generic stuff, still I can't believe that even after dozens of their buddies have been killed by poison, by shoe and by fists, they refuse to back down from this, I really am going to start burning them while I wait for everyone else to get home.

If you use the liquid, just put a few lines of the stuff in the area where they're crawling around. They'll go nuts for the stuff and take it back to the nest. Or you could use the bait station and just put it in the area where they're crawling around. The bait station is really just a piece of plastic that holds the liquid you'd be putting down.

If you're going to be putting it indoors, I'd recommend using a bait station over the liquid. Outdoors, either will work.

What I do is put the liquid stuff down outdoors where they're crawling around and just make sure they actually find it. Then I go back to that spot the next day to re-supply them. When I did it, the ants seemed very sluggish late in the 2nd day and on the 3rd day. After that, they were just gone.

If you use the liquid stuff and it rains, the bait will get washed away, so just gotta resupply it after the spot you're using dries up.

It comes in little bait houses, too. Those are the best. You can often see a like of ants, once night falls.

Dude I'm a licensed pesticide technician. If I lived in Texas I'd come do it for you.

Literally call an exterminator so they can fix this for you. Terro is probably the best OTC product you can get, but doesn't work well if you let an infestation go on for a while. (I.e. they're all over your house)
