Current Events > Xenoverse 2 PS4 problem. WTF is "text verification"?

Created a new character yesterday, played a bit yesterday, went to bed. Try to select my character today and the exact message is:

"Communication with the Playstation Network failed and text verification could not be completed. Do you want to retry?"

Well of course I'm going to retry but it instantly brings up that message. The only "solution" I found was to switch it to Wifi. I'm already using that. Everything else I was able to see was people basically shrugging their shoulders. Never had this problem on my Xbone.

It's a good idea to have it on for an extra layer of security and for text alerts if someone tries to hijack your account

I mean I'll try, but online functions for all my other games arent affected and it seems to have affected other people as well. Seems Xenoverse specific.
