I know people are really excited about Smash but this is one of the many things from Direct that I'm also excited about. I really really love job systems, so the fact that it's going to have one makes me happy.

Yeah this is gonna be a pretty cool game. I'm hoping it differentiated itself from Bravely Default enough, but imo this is currently Squeenix's best studio, so I have faith.

I'm also hoping the story is interesting. The demo was freaking cool. I loved that we're getting a main heroine-esque girl who was a noble girl turned prostitute to get revenge on her father lol. That's fucking badass and almost never happens in JRPGs

I hear some people were bored with the gameplay, but I found the battle mechanics to be pretty darn thrilling. The real trick is finding a rhythm to how to take advantage of the boost and break system.

I mean it showcased what was probably the beginning of the game. Very few JRPGs grab me with their battle system right off the bat. Though if anything I would say they should've put one of the characters further down in their story. Like the warrior guy... it feels like we could've seen him in a mid point of the game and experience a mid-point story line and still feel content as well as see where the battle system was gonna go
