Not saying Ledger wasn't fantastic, but, look aside, his acting was spot on with TAS mannerisms and craziness. Ledgers was actually written pretty tame, and wasn't very maniacal.

I'm not someone that nearly finds the entire DCEU effort that bad. I was expecting a complete non-Joker, but he felt pretty insane and Joker to me. Not the best Joker, but not an abomination either.

Not even for something as stupid as that. It looks like they tried way too hard to make him a thug. Subtlety is important.

That Dreadlock Joker from one of the cartoons probably would have looked better lol

I have no issue with a modernized take on Nicholson's Gangster Joker, but the tats were WAY too self-referential.
