Which do you generally like better

And i am not saying that these 2 are very similar i'm only asking which you like better. For this poll you can include the tv shows in the star trek universe. Are there any star wars tv shows? If there are or were then include those 2,

Star Trek for sure.

Star Wars is something that always sounds cool on paper, but in practice is just sort of ok. It's like they have such an interesting universe and nothing they make ever really lives up to it.

I prefer star wars mainly because trek just isn't really my thing but I agree with this. I feel like star wars has a lot of potential but the movies just don't live up to it. I think single films are just a bit short to capture the complexity of the universe. Interested to see how the live action series turns out

I prefer fantasy to sci-fi, but of the two, Star wars is better. I prefer movies to tvshows, and videogames to movies. In regards to that, Starwars generally wins on two fronts.

I'm not a huge fan of either but I always got the impression that Star Trek had a more realized and detailed fictional universe. If I had to judge by only the movies I'd say I like Star Wars more.

Star Wars, the little bit of Star Trek I saw was just so boring (whichever series had Patrick Stewart)

While I don't care too much for the prequels as a whole I love the characters they brought like Mace, Qui-Gon, and Maul and it set up the clone wars which is a great show, and while I hated TLJ I liked TFA and Rogue One so I am cautiously optimistic about the future

When I was a kid, wars. As an adult, trek.

Star Trek just has a more consistent quality and feels like even after Roddenberry died it kept the quality pretty high. Even if the new stuff isn't as great, it is much better then the cannon Star Wars stuff from the last 20 years or so.

Tough call. Both are good for different reasons. Star Wars, the movies at least, doesn't quite have the suspense I've witness as some Star Trek episodes. Granted the Star Wars TV series and books does a good job of fulfilling that.

SG Universe was tough for me to get into but I enjoyed it after getting past the third or so episode. I feel its meant for fans who enjoy the SG lore but wanted more suspense and human drama. I actually felt disappointed when the series ended where it did.

Stargate Atlantis was way better than SG1. #dealwithit

Only saw the first season of SGU, but I really enjoyed it and only didn't bother with season two because I knew it got cancelled. Didn't see the point in getting invested.

I hope someone picks Stargate up again because I think it's brilliant.
