Yep I'm going to SXSW, particularly the gaming event, which would be the first gaming event I've ever gone to. I'm going with my brother.

After that just plan to hit some bars or similar for night activities

I'll literally eat just about anywhere that isn't needlessly expensive.

Just found out that my friend is going to be there too to so I'll likely be meeting up with her and her group.

Not a fan of outdoor stuff TBH.

Lol. I hope I don't have to wade through TOO much traffic but I'm guessing that's unlikely to happen.

There's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant on Airport Blvd & North Lamar called Kura (or Kula. They have both names in different places). It's a pretty cool place to eat.

No way to avoid traffic downtown right now because so many streets are closed, especially at night.

Perry's steakhouse has the best porkchops I've ever had, by far.

Haven't actually been to Perry's. Still need to hit them up as well as 3 Forks. But right now my main 3 are Steiner, Vince Young, and Eddie V's. If you like fried quail, Vince Young's will make you cum your pants

Gus' is worth checking out if you're already downtown for SXSW. As is the Via 313 truck at Craft Pride on Rainey St (the restaurant in Oak Hill is way better but that's a long haul).
