I think you're being a bit too cynical about fat burners. Some do suck, yes. But if you use a good one and use them as intended as a supplement to dietary eating habits, it helps to eliminate the rather fatty cells.

But it was just a suggestion. Keep on keeping on.

It's more of a worry about the extra caffeine that some of them have. I remember taking one that had 400 mg in one pill. It make me seize up and almost hurl.

Oh, I was talking to Corrick.

And yeah, I'd look into the details of it before, but it's mostly if you take it like you should and then use it as a substitute for your other caffeine intake.

I think the concept is that it helps boost fat loss if you are eating well and exercising. I don't know if it does anything.

If you're doing that calorie counting stuff then there's not much that can help you.

I thought so too til I went for it. Really stopped missing the breads and noodles and sweets eventually. And if I feel like I really need something I can't have I just Google a keto version and get in the kitchen.

I think exercise and counting calories(while making sure to have a balanced diet) is a good option but it isn't working for me.

I cannot go without pizza, wings, potato's, and burgers. Or things like Chinese food here and there or tacos. It is a total no go for me. Not even counting my typical sides in our family meals like noodles, rices, or macaroni. I don't eat pasta or bread ever really.

Wings are keto. I make a damn good pizza with a Mozerella dough. And burgers with no bun are just as tasty. Potatoes and rice are the only thing I cant help ya with. But mashed/riced cauliflower is pretty close.

The wings I eat are usually breaded. Which makes them not. As far as the pizza thing, I can't answer that. Never heard of a pizza that way. I like burgers without buns also.

I mean, Keto sounds like a good diet. It just isn't for me. I honestly have no idea how you even get enough of vitamins and minerals in it.

?

I am struggling to lose weight?

Losing weight is easy. It is calorie counting. I am down 30 lbs in 2 months. I think I am doing fine. (Maybe going a bit overboard even) I have never had problems losing weight when I try to.

Keto is a great diet. It works wonders, and it is probably the fastest diet. It is just not the diet for me. I enjoy things you cannot have in that diet. Which is just a personal choice. If it was between not diet at all and have those things or diet and not have those things. I would say fuck dieting all together. Lol.

If the carb limitation wasn't so low for keto, I would do it. However, 25-35 grams of net carbs is way too low for me to be able to hit and be happy.

I feel like my weight loss would be much easier if I didn't so rarely go poop. I mean, I am usually like once a week unless sick. But, I once calculated it a few years ago, and I went 27 days straight without pooping.

They said it was not an issue though when I told my doctor.

I'm so screwed. There's a blizzard, meaning I can't shop for healthy food. By the time it ends, my family visits for a week (which is easy pig out mode). Dammit. I'll need to make smart choices to mitigate the weight gain. On the plus side, I'll have access to swimming pools and an exercise room all week.

Drinks lots of water.

Stay away from candy, soda, etc. for at least a month. Youll see a difference in how you feel. Instead of getting a latte, drink your coffee black.

When you want to snack, eat fruit, sweet peppers, or pickles, love pickles.

Stay away from bread. Eat whatever you want as long as it isnt in big portions or from fast food chains. Listen to your body when it is hungry, and only when you are hungry you should eat. A lot of people snack on food when theyre not even hungry but they love the taste of something.

Exercise 4 times a week, 1-2 hours a day. Have a schedule and stick to that schedule. Workout your core in the morning. This is what I usually do and it works for me.

Your goal should be overall fitness and not necessarily just calorie counting IMO. If you're really trying to lose weight, it takes more than just watching the calories. Can't express that enough, it's just not that easy.

You've gotta watch your sugar, saturated fats, how much of your food is carbs, and then also make sure you're getting some exercise to move everything along smoothly.

Losing weight is entirely calorie counting. You can eat any food you wish to. Just certain foods will leave you feeling hungry or craving so it will tempt you to eat more calories.

Fluctuations are normal. Just got to ride out plateaus. My scale is a bit wobbly. Think I need a new one though.

If we go with the lowest I have weighed in at. We are at 34 pounds lost since Feb 5th. Approximately 2 and a quarter - a half months.

At 2 pounds a week we would expect to be at 18-20 pounds down. Add a first week water weight reduction of 5-10 lbs and we are about where to be expected.

Just gotta keep chugging along.

I mean, calorie counting is important too. But it's not the only factor is what I'm saying. Besides, you can lose weight and lose it in an unhealthy way, and if you only worry about the calories then this could be a trap you fall into. Gotta make sure you lose it in a way that's healthy and leaves you more fit than before.

Weight lose is entirely CICO. One scientist lost weight on nothing but junk food (He had vitamin supplements and a protein shake, but still.)

Also hello TC, interesting to see a weightloss topic in the flesh lol. Ive been trying to lose weight myself since February. There havnt been crazy improvements to my weight, but theyre there. The muscle gainz have been whats keeping me going tbh.

I believe it, but I also believe that if he tried to do that without those supplements then he'd be a very unhealthy person even if he was skinnier at the end of it. I assume if you're trying to lose weight, the end goal is good health, not just necessarily a smaller number on the scale.

Protein shakes are not needed unless trying to gain muscle. Too much protein is bad as excess protein is converted to basically carbs. Protein is the healthiest intake between fat and carbs tho.

Um. First of all, protein is good for not losing lean mass while on a cut, not just gaining more muscle. Secondly, excess protein basically converting to carbs sounds like pseudo-science, sorry. Excess protein only happens at absurd levels, like 4.5 gram per pound of bodyweight.

Also dude, eat more fiber. I had digestive problems and rarely pooped too, but now I poop almost daily and rarely have stomach pains.
