I can't believe so many people complain about the jump rope game. You just press A 100 times and you're done. It took me 2 or 3 tries.

The volleyball game is much more annoying. It takes forever to get the first 20 or so hits, and you have to repeat the slow parts every time you fail on the faster parts.

Exactly. It made me rage out loud in the first time this year lol. The Jaxi was a lot easier to control.

but it'd be far easier if the game would disable the higher jumping while you're in doing the jump rope because that's the only reason I couldn't do it

Jump rope genius probably took me the most tries to get, mostly because finding the rhythm for the fastest speed took a lot of tries because I'd fuck up before the fastest speed hit

But the moon I thought was hardest was the dark side moon with the disappearing floor. Breakdown Road? I had to actually learn the P speed mechanics for Odyssey, lol

Volleyball is way more frustrating than Jump Rope. Jump Rope was easy for me, but I have a good sense of rhythm and also dexterous enough to tap the button instead of holding it down. Volleyball is mad annoying because it takes so long and there are more variables at play.

It's a dumb oversimplification because it boils down to a small window, and making sure not to tap the button too hard. Losing focus and making a mistake doesn't mean you have "no sense of rhythm".

I couldn't do jump rope w/ the scooter because it was so annoying to position properly

Got it my first try, only found out it was one of the most hated moons in the game after the fact.

Volleyball, on the other hand, took me for fucking ever. Terrible minigame.

I haven't done either of those yet but the one I've done that I found most horrible was one of the moons on the Dark Side. Redoing the one with the bullet bills, but without Cappy. The upper one was fine, but the lower one was hellish for me. I went through hundreds and hundreds of coins before I finally managed it.

Breakdown road was easy, but I used the talkatoo glitch to get jump rope genius. Haven't tried 2 player mode for volleyball yet. I dread the koopa races cause I hate racing so much.

Huh, you know, I'm not sure I know how to do that jump. I did the dive one and sometimes crashed into the edge. They land on their butt.

Edit: Oh I see, it's the rolling jump without rolling in between.
