Updates are required for online stuff but patches seem to be smaller at least. Though I really only own first and second party titles for it still.

really? THAT'S why? as frustrating as it is the technology is worth it when used right. Sure 20 years ago you could buy a game and play it right away, but if there was something wrong with it that went unnoticed you were pretty much stuck with those bugs. At least they can be patched out now in real time.....But the nerds will say "the Bugs and glitches made them REAL games...I miss the old days!".

Multiplayer is different because they added LOADS of stuff since it came out

Well the Remastered campaign is still pretty sweet, I'd play it anyway since there's some new surprises.

But yeah, the multiplayer has loads of new camos/weapons/reticles that weren't in there when the game came out. If you tried playing it vanilla it'd probably crash

Just set it in sleep mode and it'll go by way quicker

I managed to get the platinum for Remastered like I got the 1000/1000 on CoD4 back in the day.

Mile High Club seemed way harder this time somehow, even though I think I'm actually better at games in my late 20's than I was as a teenager.

Same lol, but thankfully with CoD games I get better with age.

MHC on Remastered was crazy though, the AI got way too smart

I'm about to go for another Platinum equivalent on Xbox too, maybe the Elite controller will make it easier

It was fun going to Toys R Us with my dad and bro and getting a new N64 game then reading the manual on the way over the little restaurant we used to eat at in the next town over. There was something enjoyable about getting out and having fun but also the anticipation of playing when you got home.
