C7D 03/19/18 8:39:30 AM #1:	My wife and I were out for a leisurely cruise in our corvette on Friday. The police pulled up behind us and flashed their blue lights. Three police cars with four officers get out of the car. Do you know why I pulled you over? Honestly, I have no idea. We were under the speed limit, no sudden lane changes, not tailgating, and hadnt recently been through a traffic light. I have zero incidents on my record. Have you ever been arrested before? Are there drugs in the vehicle? Do you have any firearms in the vehicle? No, on all accounts. At this time I realize my vehicle is surrounded by cops literally clutching their sidearms. Im with my wife. Im wearing athletic fit jeans and a Calvin Klein hoodie. I have a bracelet with Phillipians 4:13 engraved in it. License, insurance and registration I supply these things. At that point I realize the dealership never sent the amended registration, only what they printed at the dealership. The cop tells me to roll my passenger window down because it has illegal tint. I said you mean the tint Chevrolet put on the vehicle from the factory. This vehicle isnt registered. I say I have the information where I paid the dealership to register the vehicle. Its in the trunk. Can I get it? The guy at the passenger window says I have to ask the other officer. He agrees. Are there any weapons in the trunk? No. I push the button to unlock my trunk. I get out. My trunk has been opened without my permission. He has obviously searched through it. I get the folder and show him where I had paid the dealer to register the car. He writes me a fix it ticket. In the mean time, my wife calls the dealership furious that this has not been taken care of properly. They show her the paperwork. The cop is an idiot. Another car does a burnout across the road while the three cop cars are still on scene. They laugh and do not give chase. She posts it on Facebook. The guys boss reads it. I would hate to be that officer this morning. We then proceed to tell him how we were the organizers of a recent fundraiser to benefit the police. In any event, the supervisor told me that this is on camera and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken. The car was registered correctly, but the paperwork had not yet made it to my house. I had the paperwork from the dealer. They were willing to email a copy of it to me to show the officer, but he wasnt interested. Auto manufacturers cannot sell a vehicle to a dealer with something that makes it illegal to drive on the road.
