i already took a half day since his only availability was at 3:30 and I didn't want to sulk away in the middle of the work day, as that would raise suspicions.

still haven't heard back from either CMO or recruiter

i assume the radio silence is because they're busy prepping a written offer

Thats usually a bad sign. I hope it isnt for your sake, but I dont think I would get my hopes up.

I filled out an application for my old job yesterday. I finished the application and received a phone call for an interview in less than 15 minutes from the time I hit the submit button to the online portal.

yeah i assume it's a bad sign, but the recruiter did say "CMO has to move interview from Tuesday at 3:30 to Wednesday at 3:30 because he just got back into the office," the implication being that yeah maybe has some catch-up to do
