who came out with calling their skin color 'yellow' for east asians and red for native americans? was he color blind or what?

I think they mean by tint, and not that there are real like Simpson's walking around.

Asians aren't yellow. White people aren't white, black people aren't black. The human race is not a German flag.

We're all different shades of beige.

They have a tinge. If they're white, it's intentional de-tanning, because they believe it looks nicer. I'm not getting too into details about it here because some liberal will undoubtedly lose their mind and tell me I'm wrong.

It's not about tint either. I was checking some of the letters from marco polo and he called chinese people 'white' as did some other explorers. Same for native Americans, Native americans are related to native mexicans so why were native americans called red and native mexicans called brown?

Just discovered why Asians began to be called yellow:

Basically they were also also called white for hundreds of years because in fact Japanese, Koreans and northern Chinese are on average whiter than Italians, Southern French ect. What caused them to start to be called yellow is that since they were not Christians, Christians wanted to distinguish them from 'european whites' then they took into account that while whiter than many europeans they facial features were different, and also the Chinese emperor was called 'yellow emperor' and also many had the last name "Huang" which means yellow so that is why they began to call them yellow.

I have not found why native americans were called yellow. since native mexicans are called brown and theya re the same ''race''

Interesting.

Natives are usually referred to as red. Hence "Redskins". "Brown" would be Middle East and South Asia. Mediterranean can be referred to as "olive".

There are a lot of super dark East Asians as well. My ex used to wear scarves and long sleeves in the summer to avoid getting a tan. I have a pic somewhere but unsure how to post it without uploading it to the forevernet.

yeah, although the dark ones are usually from Souththern china, thailand, philiphines, native taiwanese(not han) and a few minorities etc. the average philiphino looks considerably different from the average Korean or Japanese. just like the average southern italian looks considerably different from the average finish.
