Shit is fucking expensive.

I don't even need half of this stuff yet. I've had the house for a year, but I have a few projects planned.

I honestly didn't even own a hammer when we were living in our apartment.

The house had some yard tools left in the garage, but we've bought a ton already.

Right now I'm really focused on getting my garage straightened up. Got some tools hung up, but I want to hang my punching bag, and build a work bench.

Gotta stain our fence this year. Also would like to switch the flooring in the living room, but that's probably too much.

Here's how it was when we bought it. So just trying to get rid of the stuff we don't want/need, and get some organizing done.

This happened to me, too. I was in home Depot like once a week for a while.

I never did underatand those who go tool crazy and buy shit they dont need after getting a house.

Maybe it has to do with living in an apartment and not being able to do anything with it.

I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. But I'm only buying stuff I know I will use, now or in the future.

I wish I had your mindstate. When something breaks in my house I just try to find a way around it. I once didn't shower at my house for months because my handles fucked up. Id just go to my sisters once every 2-3 days. Sometimes I didn't feel like leaving and Id go a good week >_>

Because it's really annoying when you're in the middle of something and have to go to the store to get a tool you need

Yeah, I have a huuuge procrastination problem. I usually shove it off for the first few days and by then Im use to working around it. Doing something Immediately is important cause after them first couple days you just have even less ambition about it

it's fun. i never went tool crazy (i don't own a house but i work on my own car) i just bought the tools i needed to do whatever job i was working on but you don't realize how useful it is to have tools until you're putting a desk together and you actually have everything you need to do it.

The last thing I'll be buying for awhile, is either a miter saw, or a circular saw. Not sure which would suit my needs more.

Miter is less portable but better at precision cuts. If you plan on just cutting beams and small pieces I would go miter.
