Eh, I have sleep problems so I tend to keep a somewhat rigid sleep schedule to avoid fucking myself up once the days off are over.

To be fair, it isn't a good thing overall. It means sales are slow and they need to cut payroll. But it's just a small slump - it always picks up again.

can always question whom is running the schedules, in all honesty. everyone's hiring or hours are getting increased because of the spring it's going to stay that way until fall.

I work at Ross (the discount store) and sales tend to go in small cycles. There's a surge, and then a bit of a slump. Sometimes the resulting payroll doesn't cover everyone in such a way that all the full-time people get their full hours and all the part-time people get enough for it to be worth it.

I'm technically part-time, so if hours need to get cut, I'm one of the ones on the block. However I'm one of their more valuable part-timers because of how much I can do there, so I usually get a good chunk of time every week - enough that losing this shift isn't remotely an issue for me.

There's no need to "question" the schedule maker (the assistant store manager). The almost-guaranteed reason I got cut is that my shift was the least necessary one for today. Given the timespan of it, I was mostly going to be break/lunch coverage for various stations, and they almost certainly had enough people to take care of that without me today.

I don't see a reason to think the cause for me stopping with it will ever go away. It's one part how routine it became for me, and one part how easily I'd justify substituting it for actually going out to get that sexual satisfaction by, y'know, just fucking. I know a lot of people can balance both, but I can't - the convenience of the former makes it too easy for me to justify not bothering with the latter.

Exceptions made for pics/vids that someone personally sends me of themselves, because it usually entails a chance to experience it in real life later.
