How would that even work in a 21st century democracy? Hell, I've jaywalked in front of/right behind cops and haven't been so much as scolded for it. I'm also white, though. In all seriousness no you will not go to jail JUST for jaywalking. You will get at most a citation. However, if you do get stopped and you have a warrant, or your drunk, have drugs, etc you could go to jail.
