When one purchases meat and/or dairy, it allows a slaughterhouse worker to be in a position where at the very least, an animal is killed, and at the very worst, an animal is brutally castrated without anesthetic, living in absolute horrifying conditions, is routinely abused verbally, physically, and/or sexually, and dies a slow, agonizing death that not even the most primal of animals would take pleasure in causing.

If one doesn't care about any of that (most of which is commonplace at most factory farms) it is still shown to be much worse for oneself than a plant-based diet. Animal product contains a lot of fat, cholesterol, and has been shown to increase the chances of colon cancer. Inversely, many patients with chronic health issues who switched to a vegan diet, improved their health conditions and no longer needed medication.

In short... for all the criticism that vegans get, if the suffering of animals does not bother you... and the adverse health effects don't bother you.... I think it says a lot more about meat eaters than it does soyboys.

The same could be said about vegan food. I used to think the same way until I realized you can get just about anything as a meat or dairy substitute. About the only thing they haven't perfected is steak.

They haven't perfected anything. I have a vegan friend who freely admits this, you should too.

Strides have been made but no vegan substitutes are perfect yet.

Cows suffer in the milking process and are kept pregnant most of their adult life until they stop giving milk then are brutally slaughtered and turned into Big Macs. They also seperate the calf from the mother during the process. There is nothing humane about only consuming dairy, it's basically like punching someone in the arm instead of kicking them in the nuts.

What difference does it make if it's on paper or coming out of someone's mouth? If the facts are the same, why does the method of delivery matter?

I don't feel like doing you a service you could easily do yourself. Just Google "benefits of a vegan diet" it can't be that hard.
