I'll keep it simple:
1. Work my ass off to get through college, graduate with a BS in Psychology and a BS in Political Science
2. Have trouble finding work and end up getting a call center sales job at an online university for 3 years
3. Get my masters, job starts sucking so apply around
4. Get a call about a management position I applied for, they pull a bait and switch and tell me some BS reason of why they can't give me the management position but why I should join their sales team and after 3-5 years I'll get a position, I decline
5. Get a call about a sale position at a solar company, be told that it was an inside sales position and give notice at my online college job
6. Solar company lied, it was a door-to-door 100% commission job with ridiculous guidelines for getting paid
7. Freakout and apply like crazy, get hired for a call center loan officer job
8. Job was okay until they had a huge management change and now it sucks
9. Apply to management position in #4 and get the same spiel

I can't keep working at call centers and have tried applying everywhere else and drafting up my resume to reflect the right skills, my area just has an uncomfortably high concentration of call center slave shops. I know #4 is pulling a bait and switch but they're offering $6,000 more base than what I currently make now for what appears to be about the same amount of work. I'm pissed off that they are just dangling a higher position to recruit people for the lower one, but I need the money and need to jump off of my currently burning ship. Should I just swallow my pride and take the job? I don't think it will help me build my resume much, the extra pay is nice but I don't know if I should trust them or not if they're pulling a false ad to recruit more sales slaves.

Suggestions?

I totally regret all of my degrees and don't have time, money or energy to start fresh.

Can you get a teaching job?

The bait and switch bullshit is real though, and it means the company you applied to is a load of shit so you're better off without it. I had some "management program" when i was first applying and they gave me this shit where they clam up about what you're doing until you get to the "shadow" part of the interview process (where you actually go out and see what you're doing). Turned out my job would've been standing in a wal-mart trying to hassle shoppers into buying directTV.

i can't believe i didn't walk out on the spot. i felt bad for the guy but holy shit stuff like that is just so scammy

I'd freaking love a teaching job but I have no idea where to start with that. Both universities I got my degrees from never respond to any positions I've applied for and I don't have a license to go the elementary-highschool route.

i can't tell from the OP, but do you already have your masters, or is that currently in progress?

getting a masters in education might help
