2 things come to mind.

1. Fake news, look at the date of the story.

2. Since when was BLACK HISTORY MONTH IN GD MARCH?

So if real WHY has it taken this long to find something wrong about it.
At that point its just get f'n over it already.

Well, if you understand US history, it originally wasn't being taught at all. Started out as a week, then got expanded to a month. The best solution, IMO, would be to teach black history as a normal part of US history as opposed to only teaching it during February. It's not like my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc. existed in one timeline and everyone else existed in another.

draw outrage nationwide

I mean technically true if one person from Florida and one person from California are mad.

Black history should be taught along side regular us history. The milestones are just as important to us history as anything else.

I would say someone from California, Texas, Hawaii, and Alaska would have to be upset for a true "national outrage"

It wasn't blackface, it was black paper masks. And the kids were holding them because they were reciting this poem, which is about the artificial face black people need to put on to live in a white society:

What a dumb fuck thing for adults to get upset about.

It's so weird how in one topic he'll defend a group of people that feel like their culture is being slighted and without even skipping a beat he'll berate another group of people for daring to even consider that their culture is being insulted.

It's only weird if you have a hard time understanding context.

There was no racist intent here whatsoever; it was being done to honor the black author, Paul Laurence Dunbar. If people want to say it came across wrong, that's fine. But to say it's racist, to be outraged, or to call it "psychological warfare" like the moron in the video did is just ignorant and emotional.

Are masks of a black person supposed to be completely off the table in all media or are people just hung up on the red lips?
