Hi Poll of the Day,

If you buy something off of a website like Amazon, Walmart, or any retailer that is online, please don't press the process order button at checkout multiple times, especially when the page is still loading from the first press because you will most likely get authorized twice or maybe more than once

Please don't complain about "being charged twice" when that cannot (and usually doesn't) happen; you were most likely authorized twice and need to wait for one authorized purchase to settle while the other will reverse out

I do not need to refund you $5.59. Please ask your card provider why they authorized the purchase twice because it was most likely your fault anyway

Thanks

Because your website is badly designed, you expect them to go and do a chargeback to the company, which costs more than you just simply refunding the money, and then be indignant about it. Especially since the first thing their Financial Institution is going to ask is whether or not they contacted the website to get a refund...

Wrong

Why would we want you to issue a chargeback for the very reason you just stated? It hurts the company more

Wait a fucking 2-3 business days for a revrsal to happen. If the charge does not reverse out we will literally send proof of you card being authorized and the otehr not settling. We will gladly send your FI a picture

It's just don't forgot to tell them you mashed the button like there's no tomorrow becuase the site "didn't load"

That is you being incompetent, has nothing to do with any website regardless of how shitty it is. How in the world can you get a double posting with just one button click? You can't

I just said a chargeback is worse than just issuing a refund. So please tell me how what you then responded with actually makes sense with that now being understood?

Prob because that was a dumb post Zang

Do you realize that double clicks can be fully accidental, and actually be a problem with a bad or old mouse?

So nice assumptions on your parts.

Take your indignation somewhere else.

Can tell you do this a lot, maybe get a better mouse

Good comeback. It doesn't give an answer to my question, and just tries to shift the misunderstanding away from the person who had it first.

Which is you, in case that wasn't clear enough for you.

ok

I own a $100 mouse that does not have this issue.

Want to make anymore baseless assumptions in an attempt to misdirect the points that disprove your other assumptions.

You probably will.

Go ahead.

My next assumption is you'll respond to this for no reason other than to not let anything go

Prove me wrong :/
