Libby being top five is not a testament to her being a good character. It's a testament to how fucking dull the episode was. With Angela excepted, the cast was either ignored, or spent the episode giving extremely gamebotty, emotionless confessionals. The fact that after all that, Michael survived? Yeah, shit episode.

Yeah, its tough to get too into this cast. Wendell and Don are good, and Im at least neutral on Michael, Jenna and Libby (rip), but everyone else is a mix of some level of distaste combined with not knowing they are even on the season.

Like, I think where I'm coming from, we just lost Chris last episode. We had an eight-episode storyline of him versus Domenick, and he was a major character whose presence inspired other characters to be at their best. However, that storyline ate up a LOT of screentime. And I was hoping that, with Chris gone, we would at least get a chance to have more character development for the underedited portion of the cast. But instead, what we got was...

Wendell, who I liked prior to this episode, getting a FUCKTON of confessionals detailing his strategy and his gameplay.

Laurel and Donathan give us the Monica Culpepper/Sierra Dawn Thomas "I should flip on this strong player, but ultimately we're gonna go with the majority" edit, where both of them droned on in a very monotone fashion.

Jenna gets sent to Ghost Island, giving us a prime opportunity to meet her as an individual player. Instead her entire episode is complaining about getting no advantage and missing out on tacos.

Michael is boring as usual, talking about his strategy and gameplans.

Libby, up until this point painted as a strong social player who was a Parvati-esque black widow, is suddenly portrayed as "oh, we're only targeting you because you're Michael's showmance." Never mind that the show had done nothing to indicate that said showmance was even a thing.

And it all culminates in a tribal council where old Naviti beat old Malolo again, and Libby goes out because she's Michael's sidekick, not because she's a legitimate threat.

The ONLY things I enjoyed were Angela's shit-stirring, and her subsequent immunity win.

What all podcasts do you guys listen to? I just started with this stuff with HvHvH and I dove in and listened to like everything. I loved the Know It Alls the best, but i listened to the interviews/This Week in Survivor History, the celeb recap episode, and the Wiggle Room every week. Sometimes even the B&B with Liana. But It's so much content to listen to in a week, and I follow the Big Brother Canada live feed updates every day too with Taran who I love, so this season I'm just listening to the Know It Alls. I kinda miss the Wandoff...
