Ummmmm... No to all these responses.
The correct response is the company you're interviewing has opportunities that aligns with your career strategy and your current skill-set is a good fit for the position. My answer was always something along the lines of:
"I'm looking for opportunities to grow. At this point, I feel that I have outrgrown the position and am looking for a new challenge." --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Pay should definitely be discussed. No one works for fun and the interviewer knows that. Never play your hand though. If you reveal your current salary you're opening the door for them to lowball you.

Wrong. Any real business isn't interested in you wanting to make more money. It's a given we all want to make more money. What they want to hear is that you're going to be a good fit for the team\culture and are a good investment for them. No one wants to employee someone and train them, and waste time and money only for them to be a job jumper. --- We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise.
