Its great for speculative trading, but that doesnt mean trx isnt a shit coin. My general thoughts on the market right now is were edging more towards a bear market than a bullish one, easily just matter of time btc drop below $8k and plunges further, the short term rallies just havent had enough momentum behind it to keep it sustained.

Finally reached my goal of getting 10 NEO. Ill continue to buy monthly putting new money into it because I want a bare minimum of 20 NEO. Now Im on the prowl of another new rising star to look into. Ill keep you guys updated on what I find.

I'm glad school is a wrap for me, so now I can really start researching these coins more. I'm unsure if it has been mentioned, but NEO is having a stable coin created on their platform which can only help NEO in value.

There's also another stable coin called Havven in the horizon. It is good to have different options now. Not that I have actually used them to begin with. Ill probably play around with alchmemint when it comes out.

LUX and BIS are two coins I have been keeping my eye out on for awhile. I'm thinking that I will drop $100 on BIS just because it is so cheap right now and I like the idea of introducing Python to crypto. I'll keep my eye out on LUX.

I would be a bit hesitant judging the overall status of the market off the price of ETH, mainly because Bitcoin still has around 35% market dominance, which generally indicates the health of the market is more correlated with price of btc than any other coin. At the same time though, ETH is gaining a bigger market cap at a rapid rate, all the funding for the thousands of icos these days are done through ether, its certainly very highly valued in the crypto space right now.

I personally dont trade on external information, theres merit to it but I trade purely based on price action, its just easier for me to deal with less variables. The weekly and daily charts for BTC are telling me theres a lot more bad going on for the price of btc than good. Hopefully the external information you mentioned is enough to turn the current momentum of the price around

Holy shit man, what alt are holding the most off? Thats a solid performance in a down market with the majority of coins in red, BTC was down 4% to USD within 24 hours from 3am est last night. Granted it looks like were reaching newer lows as I type this, broke $7400

The overall market cap dropped around 25% in the last 20 days(BTC did also), I would personally hold off on buying until I get more signs that the bottom is in, its unlikely we have yet to bottom.

I checked out Skycoin since its new coin added on binance and Im quite surprised at how ambitious they are. Theyve been able to follow their roadmap through and through so I have no reason to doubt them.

They are looking to reinvent the internet. Really ambitious but could be highly profitable. They are in direct competition with ETH/NEO, but if they are able to succeed with the internet then they could soar and it has a low supply.
