Shawshank is probably more rewatchable but damn seeing The Departed in theaters for the first time had me on the edge of my seat. What a ride not knowing where it was going

Shawshank is technically the better movie, but I never could love it like everyone else. I only found it ok and never had any interest in rewatching it.
My opinion on The Departed has changed and I don't like it nearly as much as I used to and I've come to see how flawed it is, but I'd rather watch it cause it's Scorsese and it has Jack Nicholson in it.
