I went there yesterday for a Pokemon raid, and decided to get a drink since it was cold out. I remembered that last time I went there I got a latte and it was all right, but I couldn't remember what kind it was. I assumed the flavors would be on the menu, but it only listed two different kinds of specialty flavors.

I asked the barista if those were the only two kinds of lattes they had; he acted as if it were a stupid question and said, "no; we have all kinds." So I asked him what kinds since I couldn't see a list anywhere, and he put on an exasperated expression. "..Do you know what a latte is? Okay, first we steam some milk.."

YES, I know what a latte is, you smartass fuckwad! I ain't asked for a damn history lesson, I just what flavors are available.

He finally started listing the flavors, and I just ordered a hazelnut. If I wasn't such a wuss I would have given him a piece of my mind. This guy pressed on two of my pet peeves: douchebags, and people who don't know how to do their job. It was pretty damn obvious I just wanted to know my flavor options - especially since I straight up asked him - but he chose to treat me like an idiot.

Place is overpriced anyway. Four dollars for one slice of lemon cake is highway robbery. Wifi sucks too.

My sister and her friends love it. They apparently go there all the time. I can only get a couple drinks there. Sometimes, you'll get douchebags who think they know everything about coffee, even though they just work at Starbucks. He probably knew less than you when he started working there. They are overpriced, though. I would never buy snacks there. Drinks are also overpriced, but not as bad as the food. Especially since it's just been sitting there all day. And the portions are small...

They recently started carrying matcha rooibos tea lattes (and black tea as well). They're god damn delicious.

I hat coffee anyways, all of it. Their hot chocolate is alright, but 4 bucks for it is insane

I like it. $2 for a medium coffee, the WiFi always works well, and I get refills for 8 cents.

Plus theres like 6 of them on campus <.<

So basically this member of staff was a knob? Could happen anywhere to be honest. I like these kind of people though because I love sarcasm so play them at their own game. Can't say I've ever been in Starbucks though. If I want a hot drink I'd just nip into Greggs or a Cafe.

Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, and Starbucks are my go-to place for coffee and among them Dunkin Donuts is my favorite. Unfortunately Dunkin Donuts in Southern California are few and far in between.

Between McDonalds and Starbucks though, it just depends on which is less busy. I do find Starbucks convenient when I need a coffee jug to-go for a meeting of some sort. Cost $15 and can serve about a dozen cups.

If I was a regular coffee drinker I would just brew at home since that $2 cup of coffee does add up.

I hate going to coffee shops because barista's wouldn't know how to make a proper hot tea to save their lives. They just assume you put a tea bag into hot water and call it good. Which sucks because tea shops are basically non-existent in my neck of the woods.

Therefore I end up just getting a hot chocolate every time I am there.

I think they were waiting for their friend to have a meeting. People wait there all the time before ordering. Like when meeting a friend at restaurants.

I am kind of a coffee snob, and Starbucks is just alright. They have a few things I enjoy like the flat white and if you they have a clover machine, that is good coffee, but still has that over-roasted Starbucks taste.

Overall, I am glad they are around as they do have a decent cup of coffee and are prevalent enough to get one just about anywhere. I would rather just get some beans from a local roaster and brew my own most of the time though.

It's overpriced coffee for hipsters and women who are good at wasting money (especially their husband/boyfriend/father's money) on frivolous purchases.

You could make much better at home, and if you need it out of convenience, Dunkin Donuts is usually just as good, if not better.

Jk but it makes pretty good coffee. For drinking alone.

I am sometimes petty about things, and thinking Starbucks is dumb because hipster art students love it so much is among them. It's also overpriced and not good.

Nobody working there should give anybody attitude, either.

Yeah freshly ground and french press is about as good as you can get, much easier to just go to a coffee shop if youre out and about though
