Dragon Ball Super: Mai is a 50-year-old woman who was reduced to the body of a child as a result of a fumbled wish on the Dragon Balls. She has since fallen in love with the Trunks of the present (and son of one of her former enemies), who can't be any older than 12, and it appears that the feelings are mutual (though Trunks is unaware of her history).

Fire Emblem Awakening: As the player avatar, Robin can fall in love with any character in the game. This includes the presumed-dead Emmeryn, who threw herself off of a cliff and suffered extreme brain trauma as a result; she has trouble speaking in complete sentences and pauses a lot, and she cannot remember anything of her past life, not even her family.

but trunks is like 20 by then.

i think present trunks is like 14 by now but they still have him look the same as the buu saga when he was like 8. i think future trunks when we see him in the past with gohan was like 14 or 15 and looked like it.

Future Trunks is ~30 (likely 32 or 33 due to time spent in the past and the Room of Spirit and Time) in Dragon Ball Super

And yeah, Present Trunks should look like how he did in the Future Trunks movie. They dropped the ball.
