The white homicide rate is 2.6 per 100,000, still over 2.5x the U.K. average. Even with that breakdown, the U.S. is still more dangerous in terms of homicides. Culture, Relgion, Economics, Media, Demographics, etc. For example the United States is much larger and has a more diverse population with more immigration. More diversity tends to create more violence and as different ideals, predjuidices, religions and such cause friction. For example Japan has an incredibly low homidice rate and I dare say a huge part of that is the extremely low amount of immigration and general cultural and religious homogeneity. This of course has its own flaws. My point is not that immigration is inherently bad. Just that diversity is one of the primary causes of human conflict. Most every good thing has something bad on the other end of the coin.
