I have a cold right now, but I know I'm almost certainly going to be better tomorrow. Because every time I get a cold or similar illness, it goes the same way. I start to feel some minor aches and pains in my limbs, and I know I'll be sick the next day. Go to bed, wake up and sure enough I have a terrible sore throat and am sore all over. Then within the next day or two, the sore throat will fade and the general full body pain will be replaced with a headache and extreme fatigue. Then those symptoms fade but I get a bad runny nose. I almost like getting a runny nose now because it means I'll be back to normal soon.

When I was younger it was never like this, I'd get every symptom at once for the whole duration of the illness, but for the last ten years or so it follows this exact same pattern every time. Is this a normal thing or am I just odd?
